 W Translations is the result of years of experience and the extensive know-how of its founder, Walter Abuid Canedo Barrientos, in the scientific, administrative, financial, commercial, advertising and legal sectors.
In 1994, Walter starts his scientific career at the Federal Technical School of Chemistry of Rio de Janeiro, qualifying in Food Chemistry. Inspired by science, he goes on to earn a Bachelor of Pharmacy (2005), with a major in Industrial Pharmacy and Food Biochemistry, and a Master’s in Chemistry (2009), both by Fluminense Federal University. Walter's entrepreneurial nature drives him to complete another bachelor's degree, this time in Business Administration (2015), by Rio de Janeiro State University.
W Translations founder joins the translation world in 2004, uniting his specialized technical training in chemistry and pharmacy with his proficiency in English and French to provide services to intellectual property firms. The dynamic, efficient and outstanding services delivered by Walter led to his establishment in the intellectual property segment, and from 2009 he broadens his scope of operation, working on various technical texts, such as scientific articles, technical reports, clinical trial documents, among others.
In 2011, Walter sets up W Translations through which he has been the link between professionals, scientists, researchers, agencies, government agencies, intellectual property firms, companies and readers, helping to spread scientific knowledge and overcome linguistic barriers between the world and Brazil, and other countries that have Portuguese as their native language. |
